Plantronics doesn’t get a lot of talk in regards to their sports headphones, but the Plantronics BackBeat 903 are one of the best Bluetooth sports headphones we’ve been able to find.
Pros

Voice Alerts. You have the ability to program voice alerts, such as low battery, pretty neat feature.
Comfort and Fit. 3 different levels of size adjustment allow you to find the best fit.
Dual Mic Technology. This feature allows you to choose between blocking our noises around you as you take a call or to allow them in the event you need to pay attention to your surroundings.
Cons
Not sweat-resistant. Though most people have no problem with this, there have been some users that end up replacing their headphones after a year or so.
Our Review
There’s a reason the Plantronics BackBeat 903 were a CES Innovation Award Honoree 2011. The Bluetooth connectivity is great, the sound quality and comfort is excellent, and their design for the active person is perfect. But that’s not what we really love. What really impresses us? The features. The same features that won them an innovation award.
Plantronics has spent a great deal of time truly considering what types of features would be best for a pair of workout headphones. For instance, they have specifically placed the microphone in a location on the headphones to reduce the amount of wind noise encountered, which has always been a complaint of Bluetooth headphones, especially sports headphones.
In addition, the microphone also has dual functionality. As we pointed out above, one of the pros is their Open Mic Technology which gives you the option to hear what’s going on around you with the touch of a button, essentially turning off any noise cancellation for a moment, which can be very handy if you happen to be using these outside, say running or biking.
Overall these are some of the best Bluetooth workout headphones we’ve been able to get our hands on.
